More Coffee Talk…

November 1, 2016

Hi!  Remember a few weeks ago when I said I was going to blog every day?  Well I didn’t mean I was starting right then and there if that’s what you thought.  I’m starting today, I think.

Anyhoo, let’s chat!  I won the female division of my gym’s Biggest Loser competition, not bad for someone who went to the gym twice in 7 weeks!  This just goes to show how big a role nutrition plays in weight loss, because although I didn’t get to the gym as often as I would have liked I did eat pretty well.  I’m happy to report now that the competition is officially over I’ve had 3 bottles of wine and 48 chicken nuggets.  Jokes and cheat days aside I’m hoping to roll my status as Big Loser into another 10-15 pound weight loss.  I know I can do it because I’ve done it before, I used to do fitness competitions for crying out loud!

So I had a freelance job for Home Goods the past three weeks, and as awesome as it was the miles I logged were tough.  To pass the time while driving all over New England I expanded my podcast horizons beyond Bitch Sesh, and into a true crime spiral.  I’ve been listening to In The Dark, True Crime Garage, Sword and Scale, Someone Knows Something, and My Favorite Murder, and watching (more than) my fair share of documentaries.  I think I have a problem you guys, I’m slightly obsessed with all things true crime and if anyone around me disappears I’m probably prime suspect numero uno.

Speaking of working on a project for Home Goods, I decided I HATE my current bedding situation.  I think I’m going to go all white bedding and possibly do over my desk nook, because I also hate that.  Maybe I’ll make that into a post?  Is that something people care about?  Do people want to see where the magic happens?  And by “magic” I mean me drinking Sleepytime Tea alone and watching The Golden Girls, and maybe crying.

Ok, I have to go to work now, on a holiday fashion shoot so I’m very excited and I hope they play Christmas music and have plates of Christmas cookies.  They won’t, but a gal can dream.  Till next time my loves!  (Said in my Yolanda Hadid no-longer-Foster voice)
